You can cook bison meat the same way you cook beef using the same recipes, but if you want to truly enjoy the unique taste of bison meat make sure you follow the instructions in any bison meat recipe and you won’t be disappointed

So in order to get the best taste out of bison’s meat always follow the guidance in the recipe. To get the best results you also need the best meat available. When judging the quality of bison’s meat keep the following in mind: the color is a deeper shade of red than beef because it does not produce steaks of fatty tissue like the beef does.

Also be careful when cooking because of the less fat it cooks more rapidly. For best results always cook the meat at a lower temperature for a longer period of time. Never cook it on high temperatures because the mea will dry out and it will not be as tender as it is supposed to be.

Buffalo burgers are best cooked on medium and even medium to low temperatures which allows the moisture of the meat to stay inside without drying the meat out. When cooking don’t be surprised if bison’s meat doesn’t shrink as the beef does and there is no fat to drain

Just make sure you give it enough time to cook until it falls apart when touched and you will be able to enjoy the rich taste of bison meat.
